Darlington, Sept 26 – Martin P. Gray, 63, a retired farmer died this morning at 3 o’clock at his home here. Born in Montgomery County July 23, 1865 for many years he was a prosperous farmer, retiring several years ago. On Oct 4, 1896 he married Lottie Clark. He was a member of the K of P lodge. Besides his widow he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Mary Campbell, Darlington, and Mrs. Zollars, Lafayette; two sons, Frank, Thorntown and James, California and a stepson, Claude Clark at home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the residence. – kbz
